Message to Pupils

Message to all girls and boys in my class

I hope everybody is keeping well, I can imagine that ye are all fed up of being locked up at home by this stage. While some of ye might not like to admit it I bet lots of ye would prefer to be back in school, I know I would! I'm being kept busy at home here minding my 10 month old boy Eanna and my 2 year old girl Aoife, who we are currently trying to potty train with very mixed results so far! I miss ye all and am looking forward to getting back soon.
The main thing is that everyone keeps safe during this period. I would ask you all to do me one favour, please help your parents out. The best way you can do this is by listening to them, working well with them and getting along with your siblings. (however hard that is😂). I have seen first hand all year how cooperative and kind you can be.
As regards the work which I set you every week, it is your parents who have the final say on what you do. Whatever assignments you do aim to complete it to the best of your ability, take pride in your work. Take care and stay positive, there will be lots of nice things to look forward to when we get back!

Mr. Corry

I've attached a picture of my dog Ruby below. She is having a great time with her walks and playing with Aoife all day in the fine weather.

The Prank Hundred Word Challenge

The Prank by Hughie
It was a dull Monday and I glanced over at Jake Kane and thought about all the pranks he pulled on me and my classmates so I thought me and my friends should give him a taste of his own medicine. After school I got my friends together to tell them my idea of pranking Jake. My teacher told me to clean out the dirty paint trays but I poured the left over paint into a bucket like the mischievous rapscallion I am. As I am a little on the short side I got my friend Ben who is quite a tall boy to place the bucket on the top of the door. The plan was when Jake came in the bucket would topple on his head and the would run down his face, I congratulated myself quietly. I turned around and waited patiently and the class gasped suddenly. A smile spread across my face I turned around and there stood Mr. Byrne the principal, covered head to toe in paint I knew what was coming next….

Classwork

Dear Parents,
Please see below, next week’s plan of work. Remember as I have stated last week there is no compulsion on any child to do this work. It is also meant to be their official Easter break. So should they engage with none of it or very little of it, there is absolutely no problem on my side of things. The plan of work is simply set out as an option in helping to provide your child with a little bit of routine. You as parents are the ones who will decide what is best for your children. The main thing is that they are healthy and safe. Children's work can be sent on to me at eamonn.corry@ennisns.ie
Kind Regards,
Eamonn

6 Slice the canned tomatoes and add, with all the juice, to the onion mixture.

7 Season the contents with sugar, salt and pepper.

8 Cook the tomatoes uncovered for 30 minutes or until the tomato softens.
